When I wish to do something different from pen & ink or sculpture I go to my other love and that is using fabric, thread and a sewing machine and embark on creating pictures using sheep’s wool! It is very enjoyable blending the colours and building up layers of wool to depict a scene. I finish the picture off by adding machine embroidery and sometimes some appliqué.
All pictures sizes are approximate. All are stitched on a piece of 100% wool fabric. They are mounted on a simple frame or wooden board and are ready to hang. The frame / board can be removed easily if required.

Apart from the needle felted pictures I also make individual, unique small bags. All have an outer fabric of 100% wool, and are fully lined inside. There is a novel closure at the back consisting of a felt flower button. All buttons and designs are unique and are never identical as each is hand made. Bags vary in size but are approximately 6.5" x 4.5". Cost $30 including shipping. Size can be made to order.
